Description
“I bought this rhodie from rhododendronsdirect 5 yrs ago in 2 gallon size, I think. Starting with delivery, It’s been delighting me ever since. The plant came in nicely rounded and robust. The foliage is always pleasing to the eye. The blooms are incomparable, pictures don’t do justice. Last winter we had a very cold spell (unusual for NY state zone 7a), it came through unharmed. It is now blooming in front of Rose Zephirine Drohin, just as intended, together they create a most opulent yet romantic combination. I give this rhodie and the company 5 stars each. Thank you Oregon Rhodies.” Susanna Erlikh.

Irene Moszer –
Gomer Waterer is an old hybrid. It is one of my very favorites. The leaves alone make it worth growing. They are solid and dark green. The plant is sturdy and big and really takes care of itself. I do dead head the blossoms since the plant puts forth such beautiful white-pink blossoms it would be a shame not to remove them when they are finished with their display.
It grows in the sunshine of my Bend, Oregon garden. Obviously I have to water it faithfully every day in the
Central Oregon “High desert.” I rely on Gomer Waterer to be spectacularly beautiful, with abundant white pink flowers to show case some of my other rhodos which have less vigor and garden presence. I recommend it very highly.
